3.5mm audio cable with right-angle jack?

db

#chaplife
anyone know where i can get a 3.5mm stereo audio cable with a right-angled jack? sounds like a fairly simple request, i know, but i can't find one for love nor money! i looked in maplin over the weekend, and they've got loads of your basic straight-jack style, but no right-angled.. i've had a google, but the story seems to be the same everywhere..

preferably a short length (e.g. less than a metre).. it's so the missus can plug her ipod into her car stereo, and not have the jack stick out too much from the dash..

ta :)

Dealextreme have loads of cables but I can't be arsed to search through them all to see if they have the right one.

Something like this....?

Unfortunately this is 2.5mm to 3.5mm as I have it for my Nokia phone.

May have a 3.5 to 3.5 though.

But if you got a straight M2M, you could plug it into the F end and have something close to what you're after, surely?
(First person to post "Don't call me Shirley" gets... gets... well, I don't know what they'll get, but it won't be nice. :) )

Yeah I was thinking what Wookie said....

I assume she already has a 3.5m23.5m, so if you can find what I posted in 3.5 to 3.5 then Roberts your dads brother.

If that is the case then Maplin have this for eight quid. You'll end up with a lot of wire, but you could go home with it today and claim that you have displayed your devotion. If they have one in stock, that is.

yeah, but using an extension just adds another link to the chain and therefore unecessary noise/faff.. i've seen these things so many times, i can't believe i can't find one now

Have you got a soldering iron? You could just make one, I even have a cable with a 90* 3.5mm jack on if you like? Unfortunately the other end is Female though. The drop in audio quality won't be noticeable in a car unless its a Lexus or Bentley or something which has no road noise at all.

Not entirely sure although I reckon you should get some discount because there are lots of posters around the uni with some smug tw@ts face on advertising how much money he has saved on amazon, amongst other things. NUS discounts are everywhere though buddy loads of places accept it for discount.
