A phone question ...

:help: Probably sounds a stupid question, but panicking here folks.....

Hubby is working away and using my old redundant phone with his new EE PAYG sim card in. (EE sim has data included in the package)

He's put the 'mobile data ' on to send me a Whatsapp photo..... Whatsapp message came through with my old Virgin phone number on as the senders contact (that sim has been slung and the contract cancelled a few months ago)

Is it possible that I could be charged for the data from Virgin if it's supposedly come from my old number, even though that sim no longer exists and now got the EE sim in the phone it was sent from ???

Took me months to actually get away from Virgin mobile , and stop receiving millions of bills for millions of accounts they kept creating, when I tried to cancel my contract at renewal date. Don't want a repeat of that fiasco :(
