A place of little hope, optimism or joy - do you recognise it?

Despite all warning of change to our health,wealth and overall happiness I have been shocked to find such a massive fall in the outlook of the people of Britain

It appears to have taken less than 3 months for us to have gone from a relatively sarcastic happiness to one of bleak despare, sadness and resignation

A feeling of sudden change in a Nation and its people is quite overwhelming

Please tell me I am misreading the situation

Everything was kushdy when all we had to worry about was a war far enough away for us not to hear the noise...

Now we have the war plus we have to cut down on our drink and fags because we may not be able to afford the healthcare or have a job to buy more drink and fags?

And now I'm hearing that we may be invading Libya?? Do they produce B&H and Carling? I don't think so...
