Does anybody know how far along the A518 you can get at the moment on the way to Uttoxeter until the road is blocked? Looked at Google Maps and it looks like you can turn left towards Bramshall and get round Uttoxeter that way.

They’re “improving” the junction with the road to Abbott’s Bromley (1st right as you get into Uttoxeter) etc so I’m assuming that’s where it’s closed. I haven’t been that way for about 2 weeks so can’t be certain. Bramshall is the way I’d go.

I drove through uttoxeter last weekend and it was just the temp traffic lights on the above stretch of road where there was a small queue....

That's how it's been for a few months but apparently they've changed the roadworks last week ( the new diversion signs appeared at the A52/A518 junction early last week). I'm not sure whether the road is actually closed (it's reported as closed) but it's a long way to go & have to turn round, I'd just go through Bramshall anyway.

My Google map route planning isn't showing any road closures to Uttoxeter and is showing a journey time of c25 minutes.

It looks like there's a delay just before Amerton farm but nothing else to Uttoxeter.
