lolwut? perhaps you should tour a hospital and see where most of the people who work there come from. and once you've done that, pop over to the ONS website and have a look at how much more immigrants contribute compared to what they take.

Then, once all of that is complete, return to the hospital to have a foreigner extract your head from your posterior so that you can shout at your government.

There is a zero relationship between taxes of any description paid and any ' benefits' received in terms of monies in and out

It's simply The Treasury

And Those FuckingAnnoying Departments

None of any of the money you think you pay now into the state pension will actually pay for your state pension

You are simply paying into the Treasury, they in turn service a giant debt, and one of those loans now pays current state pensions

There is no provision for future pensioners

That money is yet to be borrowed

My thoughts on the bits that interest me:

• Yay investment in technology
• Yay investment in EVs
• Boo they've barely increased the personal allowance
• Boo they didn't push the 2% BIK on an EV forward
• Tax credit on R&D increased to 12%, yay less tax to pay on things
• Yay stamp duty for first time buyers dropped/greatly reduced - shame I'm not longer a FTB...
