I had my hair cut once by Alfie, next door to the cinema. It took soooo long I thought I was gonna die of old age before he finished, but he gave me a bloody great cut and it was well worth his attention.
The next time I returned to the same place, Alfie left for a food run as I entered and I ended up with a piss poor cut from somebody else.
What I loved about Alfie was he was so enthusiastic about his trade and obviously loved his work, paying great attention to my hair.
I'm in Stoke now, my current barber does not fully understand "leave the top, short back and sides only" and I'd love to have another cut with Alfie to get my hair right.
If anybody knows him, please PM me his details as I'd be very happy to pay for a quality cut.
