Does anyone know what has happened here, I work nights just up the road and on the way to work at 11 saw a police cordon round the place no staff inside.

All i have heard is that all the staff have been arrested something to do with an assault and forensics will be there 8am in the morning.

Firefighters took down a "dangerous" kebab shop sign

Apparently the main problem was excess wind.

Hello all!

Does anyone know what happened in Alis kebab house last night. On my normal trundle down the Newport road to work this morning the old bill where outside and the pavment was sealed off with police "do not cross" tape! Also the tables where moved around and it looked like someone had been cleaning up. Not that it effects me, im just nosey!!

yeah, i meant to ask this earlier but forgot! i drove past at 07:40 this morning, and there was police tape completely blocking pedestrians from passing, and a jam butty parked outside with its lights flashing..
