A plea for unwanted gardening stuff - if you have any unwanted gardening stuff most allotment sites would find a use for them specially the good folk at the Exeter street plots - just drop off any unwanted garden stuff it will be much appreciated

Talking of allotments...

No doubt most people have seen this by now, but the Borough Council is doing another 'chance to win an allotment' thing;

SBC said:
Stafford Borough Council is running a competition to give four lucky families the chance of winning their own allotment for the 2012 growing season. They will also get plants, seeds, equipment and a mentor to guide them.

Anyone interested should fill in an application form and the four who provide the best reason for wanting to have an allotment will be selected by a panel of judges. The forms are available from staffordbc, at the Civic Centre, Riverside, Stafford, by emailing aknight@staffordbc.gov.uk or on 01785 619387. Closing date for applications is Friday 24 February.
