Are you sure?

Confirmed sighting - with expletives and voluble angriness - outside the Apothecary on a blueish-green number @ 16.30ish. There may even have been violence and vehicle damage in to the bargain.

The man is an absolute menace to all road users. Will it take a major incident for him to be stopped.
Had a brief encounter just before Xmas .I was waiting at lights to turn right out of Station road in to Newport Road. As they changed he came from Newport Road (Tesco way) and rode straight towards me as I pulled away .He then commenced to ride between both rows of queuing traffic shouting abuse(I saw him in my mirrors).
He is not safe.

I had to give someone a brief character reference this afternoon, on my way to the coppers' chip session.

I am contemplating some sort of telescopic 'reminding' device, to be secreted somewhere within the tube of my handlebars. Or preferably a considerably larger REMINDING device that might fit in a bottle cage.

I do not take kindly to attempts to kill me.

And i don't really see why i should do.

Not seen Mr Angry for weeks now. Did the inevitable car/bike interface finally get him?

Nope he's still around. Funny thing is I saw him town a few days ago, having a civil conversation with someone, it seems when he's on his bicycle it triggers his erratic behaviour.

If that's the case maybe the police should look at confiscating his bike because one day he is going to cause an accident.

Met him in town about a week ago, can't say I've ever had a problem with the man. He enquired how I was doing, and said he was ok when I asked same. I find his conversation to be a bit stacatto, but he's always been like that.

Just about spotted this idiot today riding up the middle of the Stone Road near Holmcroft with no lights and head to foot dark clothing.

Then he starts swearing and gesticulating at car drivers who have to violently swerve at the last minute because they can't see him in the dark.

Tonight's incident nearly tipped me over to either calling 101/999 or getting out of the car and seriously reacting!
I am very tolerant and very understanding but when you get a tirade that is personal and seemingly quite reasoned, you don't think "of dear, that chap isn't well"
Came back towards Stafford and got to Redhill roundabout and there was a figure, riding very slowly around the roundabout, in an obstructive manner - there was a truck and cars on the roundabout and anybody going at a fair pace would have wiped him out - so as I got to the give way line he cut across my path then rode round the back, As I pulled onto the island I got "you f-00in c--t, you fat ba---- you f----n fat c--t!"
All I could think was "if that was somebody who had never seen him they would have gone back round the island and tore him a new one!"

So, I hope there are local officers that view this thread and can hopefully have a polite word at some point, before somebody else does!

My understanding is that the chap has treatment has & been in hospital for his Psychiatric condition, which is irratic to say the least. He is on obviously a danger to himself and others at times, but I understand he can be lucid and appear ' normal' at others. Am at a loss to know what to suggest. Am sure he will get hurt at some point, am amazed he hasn't been seriously injured, just hope his tirades don't result in damage to someone else. Have heard when he takes his medication he is well, however when he doesn't !!!!!!!!

Piss off, dick, was the worst I've heard him say, so perhaps someone gave him a Roget's Profanisaurus for his birthday prezzie?

Mr Angry just cycled past me on Foregate Street and I got the angriest and longest stare you could imagine.

He managed to cycle through two sets of red lights whilst meandering across both lanes and was nearly hit by a van correctly exiting Browning street whilst he cycled through the red light.

Surprisingly no expletives were expressed.

He wasn't wearing his cycling gear or a cycling helmet this time so his days may be numbered sooner than we thought if he carries on in this manner.
