Anyone able to fix my computer.

I have a HP touch smart 310 PC computer, I have been using it today, I turned it off but had to restart it ten minutes later due to someone asking me to do something. The motor/fans are working but the screen is blank, I have searched some help pages but it does not sound good.

I can take a look on a no fix no fee basis for you. If it's a simple fix that doesn't require parts it would be £30, if it did require parts I would quote first.

It could be anything from the memory requiring re-seating (contacts cleaned) to faulty memory or the worse case scenario overheated graphics - in which case often not viable to repair. Impossible to say without taking a look though.

I use WMR for all computer fixes. I recently used him for repairing a few work's laptops and it saved us a fortune.

I once used that shop on eastgate street and was really disappointed, they refitted a screen on a laptop and it came back not fitted correctly (but cost a fortune) admittedly was about 4 years ago - but still wouldn't go back.

Thanks for the recommendations. He did actually bring it to me a week or two ago, but unfortunately it was one of the occasions when overheating had brought it's life to an irreparable end.
