occasionally my band require a driver. you would be driving a long wheel base transit van (or something along those lines), would need to be 25 years of age, have held a full license for 2 years, and be able to put up with us basicaly. we wouldn't want you to chip in helping out at the gigs, but obviously if you were willing to do that we'd be grateful. pay iis negotiable, but in addition we'll keep you fed and watered

as an example we have a gig in glasgow this month on the 17th, and will require driving up to glasgow to get there for about 5ish (so leaving at noon), and would need driving back at geting on for midnight. pain in the arse i know, but from 5pm until getting on for an hour before we left you'd be able to sleep or do whatever you wanted

if anyone is interested please let me know and i'll get in touch so we can discuss this more

(n.b. most gigs wouldn't be so demanding, we don't usually drive up to scotland and back, but needs must with this one as some of the band have family commitments)

Can raise my hand at this stage? 27, full license for around 4 years, and sound engineer with Roadie experience? Am also quite handy with a soldering iron, so I guess emergency repairs too lol

Also have experience with setting up stage lighting and DMX networks.

Any use to you folks?

Registered 25 Oct 2007, I see.

Trying to get up to speed before four years is up?..
Haha, something like that, yeah! Mind you, this is probably self inflicted, I registered the account back then and then proceeded to helpfully lose the old login details... something to do with a PC blowing up that took a load of old music, login details, code etc... you can see where this is going. (note to self- never touch maxtor HDs with a barge-pole again)

Fortunately Shoes pointed me in the direction of Admin for p/w resets etc, so kudos to the lad for that one.

Take heed! Being nice to shoes is contrary to Forum etiquette. Is that not in the Rules Section? It certainly should be..

It definitely should be. But as I'm forced to live with him, I get to laugh at him on a daily basis either way, so does that count?
