Hello,

I'm after a nice venue in Stafford, could hold 50 people or a little under, space for buffet, Dj etc, not too expensive but of course nice enough for 60th wedding anniversary celebration?

So far, i have the Boat Club on Wildwood in the mix.

Thanks, i think that's it.

Gotta be! I've been to numerous parties at P&A since it opened, including my b'day. It's ideal for such an occasion...lovely place, great staff and I'm sure they'd be able to offer you a very nice buffet too!

We swapped several emails earlier this year with Mr PandA about having our wedding reception there and its my number one choice, I'd absolutely love to have the reception there but the only problem is the stairs and getting the oldies up there!!

It's in Lloyd Street - across from the Four Crosses. That may not make it sound that enticing, but it seemed OK the once that I've been in there. There might be membership issues with it, though - best to ask.

Our own gon2seed is a fireman and, subject to shift patterns, may be prevaled upon to carry the odd old fogey up or down in return for a slice of cake....

Set fire to your Dad and he'll just have to do it.
