Can anyone recommend a good garage? - Are A1 any good?

(I don't fancy selling a kidney to pay to take it to the main dealers)

Whatever you do, don't go near A1! They told my eldest there was nothing wrong with his car (I'm sure he'll tell you exactly what they said)
His brakes had gone, he was told they were fine. He could have been seriously injured or killed if he'd had to do an emergency stop.

Stafford Motorcentre in Telegraph Street seem to specialise in German stuff.

Haven't got an Audi, but I've got a car & I live in that area and have used both garages and from experience now use Motorcentre.

AA Silencers have always done a good job for me.

Jim & Rob at Hi-Q are decent. Definitely recommend them.

A1 went seriously down hill after John sold the business. Me & my dad both went to him for all work that needed doing.
