Oh no, Ayo Gorkhali has sent me their new menu and there's no venison dishes anymore. Not sure what else has gone though.

I really enjoyed the venison dishes but they weren't doing them when I went in with Mr and Mrs @tek-monkey a few weeks ago.

Sorry I am unable to upload the new menu as the file is too large but it is available on their website.
Gutted, but they've not had the venison a few times now. You'd think with the chase just up the road we'd be ok!

Forgot to report on our works evening out last week which consisted of a face to face work meeting for the first time in two years.

Then we adjourned to the Bird's beer garden for a few beers in the sunshine followed by a meal in Ayo Gorkhali.

I'd given the restaurant our choices in advance because some colleagues had to catch trains and it sometimes takes time to prepare the meals.

Many of my work colleagues were Nepalese "virgins" but all plates were cleared for both starter and main courses. The Gurkha beer went down well as well.

We'd walked through the park and via Church Lane to get to the Bird and some colleagues said how nice Stafford was (didn't take them down the North end of the High Street!!) and they want more team meetings here.

All in all a rather enjoyable evening.

The Coach and Horses's beer garden, with its lovely view of the River Sow, would undoubtedly have been more convenient for Ayo Gorkhali.
