Doubt it, considering it’s the standard for basically everything now and is fairly future proof by way of version increments

The main issue is the average person doesn’t understand the versioning as it’s complicated, you have to know to look for a 4K HDR10 capable cable to get the most out of your content
Very true... I've just gotten myself a Xbox one x ( not the series X) and the cable I was using just said "high speed with Ethernet" so decided to get a new one whilst I still had a prime membership.

Still getting used to the whole HDR10 stuff and the setup on the TV....

Decided yesterday morning that a couple of days in the lakes would be nice. Found accommodation in Ambleside but when we arrived found that I had cocked up the booking and had no room. The receptionist did a bit of online searching and found one room available at The Sun at Troutbeck Bridge about 3 miles away.
As it was almost 18:00 and they were unlikely to let the room I managed to get us in at a little under half the advertised rate. Happy days.

Picked up an Odyssey putter at the big Katherine House shop by the tip yesterday for just £15... Worth a hell of a lot more.

It's a bit on the short side so extending the shaft and regripping it later in the week.. It has a lovely feel to it.

With luck it will sort my woeful putting out!!

Is it that easy? I'll have to go and find a new one too...
If you can find me some large deep rectangular Pyrex dishes with lips (to grip onto) ill be forever thankfull, they seem to be my nemesis.... Unobtainable.. ..

Not a putter?!

The only deep pyrex I have doesn't have lips - it's the new stuff. The old stuff I had from my mum all has lips but is shallow.

Same problem here, I'm forever worrying its going to slip through my oven gloved hands as there's no lips... Everyone keeps saying KH, but I've never found one.... Like hens teeth.

I never thought about it until I looked on you tube ! You can buy aluminium extensions that are around 3 inches in length that go in the end of the existing shaft...most shaft butts are 0.6 inches wide so you just need to check that.

Glue it with epoxy, trim off what you don't want then fit a new grip. Pretty straightforward. Don't think I'd do it for an iron or driver but for a putter with zero shaft stress it's straightforward...

Then bought a matching headcover...

Samsung have an odd cashback deal at the minute meaning if you order 5 sets of buds you get 400 quid back, and amazon have the buds live for 86, so you get 5 pairs for 30 quid and a bit of waiting. Buds 2 are 99, so about 20 quid each in the end.
