I wonder if it's being misused? There used to be a bin opposite my house and my neighbour would always put the dog mess from his garden in there rather than in the green bin, and I'd always see a lady drive up and do the same most days.

So dog owners shouldn’t put poop bags in the bin as the council want us to?

Taken on Porlock Avenue this morning.

And yes, I did put the poop bag in the bin.
The bin was overflowing at the weekend and people had left their bags on the floor in front of the bin aparently.
Perhaps that is what they’re referring too. If the bin is full take it to the next bin or home - simples

Enjoying a drop of red.

Maybe Streetscene should be informed so they can arrange to empty the bin more often, if that is really the reason.

Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
If that's the case then people should know better but it is a common occurrence unfortunately, I've seen it at many bins.

What the complainant should have written is "If the bin is full, please use another bin or take the poop bag home with you" - which is what any responsible dog owner would do. Again unfortunately, there aren't too many of those.

If the bin fills up too quickly then they need a bigger bin or two bins. A bin near the Methodist Church on The Rise is always full, but then that's due to an elderly gentlemen dumping all his rubbish in there (and on the land to the side of the church too).

Not enough bins, I started a whole thread about it!
