Last night the husband noticed that since I've been out in the sunshine over the last couple of weeks, my eyebrows have almost disappeared (bleached by the Sun).

So, being a dutiful wife (& having had a few Gins ) I let him draw me some on with an old black eyeliner. (We know how to have fun on a Saturday night). Now I wasn't overly impressed with the mono-brow & moustache that I ended up with, or how long it took to get his beauty improvements off.....but, I did look better with darker eyebrows. :up:

So, where would you recommend for eyebrow tinting & shaping? How long does it last? (I usually have them threaded every now & again by the lady in the market, but apart from that I mostly leave them alone & wouldn't know where to start).

Also recommendations for nails would be good (I last went to the place opposite the cinema & the lady was horrified that I only wanted a French polish & wouldn't give in at her attempts to make me have gellish (or whatever its called now)).

Last of all - spray tans - I don't really want one as I tan very easily, but I have an 'occasion' coming up (sons wedding) & just incase I end up with strap lines can a spray tan even them out? Where's the best place?

I don't do fancy myself, as I've said before. Wouldn't know classy if it was to bite me on my big bum.

There's that place by st marys\ guildhall that does spray tans and the place by Tesco on stone road .
I use elegant nails for nails .
eyebrows - riverside . Or just stick to guildhall ,im sure they do tinting too . Or Just tint them yourself. Usually lasts a few weeks

Cant help you on nails because I do like long gel or acrylic nails myself. I do think the Vietnamese do the bestest nails ...I used to go to the one opposite the cinema but I hated the way he abused his wife publically and talked about cheating behind her back.

I then started going to the one opposite Laura Ashley....lovely couple.

I now got to cannock for my nails, and Beauty Inc at Penkridge for a spray tan.

Stafford College is very cheap for facials etc if you dont mind being a guinea pig and Francesco Academy do free wash and blow drys.

I also need my eyebrows done...I want the new look which is a bit more shaped rather than heavily plucked.

Yes, that's what I'm after too....whilst looking today I found a place called Envy hair & beauty that do a eyebrow wax, shape & tint & also show you how to maintain them at home afterwards for £15 - £20 - I thought this was quite good, & their hair & nail prices were good too, but I have no idea of their reputation....anyone used them?

I have noticed that Eclipse on the corner of Albert Terrace / Marston Road do things to eyebrows and also do re-sprays.




I am not going to Google "Brazilian smooth blow dry".

.....I should probably pay more attention, that's where I have my hair done!

Lmaoooooo Noooooooooooo! She can do loads more. See if you can find her on Facebook.
She can do massage, waxing, spray tans, pedicures/ manicures. Brows and will even whiten your teeth if you need them doing.
I know her sister very well, she is a senior nurse at work. Been a guinea pig for most things and she looks fabulous.
