I have solved the problem.

I am hereby officially announcing the creation of "SPAS"

The Stafford Pie Appreciation Society.

Membership will be free, with two main types of membership
-Traditionalist, this is for enthusiasts of traditional pies like BBC and his Steak Pies
or
-Bespokers, for the forward thinking pie lovers.

Choose your membership and get in touch.

When membership has grown I shall be organising a pie fight to see which group is the best.

What you wanna be - a traditionalist or a bespoker?

Remeber this choice will define you in the eyes of the Grand Master Pie for the rest of your life.

P.S. Also a sucker for a beautiful bass, want to try and steal a double bass..... thinking about mugging a jazz musician, I would feel mean but it's all about the bass.

yeah i gotta go with bespoke too...the possibilites are endless. if we're talking about traditional pies from a supermarket, you can't do much better than mcdougall's chicken and asparagus, and they usually on offer! Bonus.

as much as i like traditonal pies, the bespoker is just too exciting to pass up. count me in.
As Anj has also chosen Bespoker and I myself am a die hard bespoker (mostly due to the fact that my pies always consist of whatever is in the fridge and that can get strange) the pre pie war stands

Bespokers = 3 Traditionalists = 0

Come on traditionalists ........ I want my war.

You knows it
well fook me who would have thought that pies would cause such debate. This may well go down as the great pie debate of 2006. I have already stated my traditionalist views on the matter. i do like the idea of a roast dinner (obviously lamb) pie. This sound mint!

The square pies were good anj but lets face it anything would have tasted good after the shit we had digested at glastonbury that year.

My all time pie has to be a place i went to in reading last year. can't remeber the name of it but it is 'reknowned' for the quality of its pies. it really was the upper crust, a slice of heaven if you will :)

if i'm not mistaken, you've got a picture of that pie on your phone haven't you? post it here!

i think i should set a weekend task;

everyone must eat at least one pie this weekend, and review it. photos etc are encouraged.
