So I've promised my lads to take them to the Christmas Market in Brum we got cheap train tickets, can anyone recommend a qwerky pub or jazz bar/ place to eat..not been for years

I've been to Bennetts Hill many times, usually the Wellington but also the Briar Rose and the Cosy Club and I think the Sun on the Hill but never noticed that establishment.Yes, we've been there. Recommended.

A shout out for Albert Schloss in redeveloped Chamberlain Square. German beer hall vibe, bench seating and live acts pretty much every day.
Post Office Vaults is a cracking pub with lots of real ales

I hadn't heard of Albert's Schloss but I've looked it up and it appears to be continental European and so probably doing well with all the nostalgia for when we were in the EU, and it started in Newcastle on Tyne which voted Remain.Was dead when I went in last Friday night.
Albert's Schloss is my favourite place in Birmingham, I'm partial to dancing on tables at midnight...
