Books and Bacon Baps Coffee Morning

Just been down to have a look, we haven’t got it, although I could have sworn I’d seen it the other day.
They all look the same after a while - if you do see that one, keep it - the only book that I've ever read in one go...

Say no more.

ETA My better half says there may be an issue with parking. Any thoughts?
Well it's true that the church doesn't have a car park but there is parking available on the road outside the church. If you don't mind a minute walk there is parking outside the shop and all down common lane or in the road round the corner from the church.
They always seem to manage somehow even on busy weddings days or school functions.
Come along, the more the merrier.

The coffee morning went well, people came and went, bought cake, bought books, had a chat, it was a lovely relaxed village morning.
It was lovely to welcome again some returning Stafford forumites but also lovely to meet for the first time @Mikinton
Thanks for popping along, I really enjoyed meeting you.

Damn, forgot all about it. On industrial strength antibiotics at the moment, feel like shit and not really functioning.

Oh @Noah blimey, that sounds absolutely horrible. I really hope that you get better soon.
There will probably be another one around February time.

And it was good to meet you too, @Carole . :)

I was very impressed with the coffee morning, which seemed very busy when I was there. And plenty of books to choose from too, and all in good condition. Shame I wasn't able to hang around for coffee and a cake. Maybe next time I'll plan the morning a bit better. (Maybe I'll skip breakfast and have a bacon bap as well.) Anyway keep us posted on the next one and I'll dig you out some books. They'll all be non-fiction, though maybe Mrs Mikinton can find you some fiction to sell.
