We've had FTTP since last August where I live in Worcester. Ours so far (hope I've not jinxed it now) has been working fine.

But other parts of the estates (by sons, so luckily he's not changed to it yet ) and lots of other areas in Worcester have lost FTTP connections totally for the past 3 days and still ongoing . Apparently City Fibre , installing it on behalf of lots of providers , have hit problems doing emergency repair work & have f**cked it all up , and taking longer than expected to get everyone back.

We've still got the old box inside to hopefully connect the modem to use the good old fashioned connection if it happens to us (City Fibre installer advised to keep it to revert back if needed) .

just had my annual increase which due to inflation will be an increase of almost £9 a month. :(

Anyone spoken to a BT engineer at any of the cabinets to find out a rough roll out date? They were pretty much spot on back when they did the FTTC upgrades and I asked.

Stafford's just been upgraded and Shell and Sky services have now gone live offering up to a gig broadband speeds.

Good to have some competition with Virgin finally.

Not everywhere it seems, Kingston hill doesn’t have any yet, nor Tixall Road
