Broken boiler :-(

Can anyone recommend someone trustworthy who can fix heating systems?! I have a gas combi boiler and have had no heating for weeks. It's freeeezing in here!!

Well that's how I sort of ended up on here! He was recommended but was having no joy with the phone number. Then a search led me to here! I think I've messaged him on here this morning (but I might not have done it right?!?). So I'm covering all bases as 3 weeks without heat is quite enough!!

He may be under a bit of pressure at the moment - he's just done a big job right next to me and I know of at least one other thing that he's got lined up imminently..

I ditto the recommendation of Rikki, if you've waited 3 weeks already then Rikki really is worth the waiting a few days more!

I don't mind waiting, so long as there's a light at the end of the tunnel! I'm thinking he may be chocka tho! I'm trying to think of the pennies I'm saving not having any heating!!

Another vote for rikki here, amazed his number isn't working. Maybe worth another try, in case he was just out of signal when you tried? Odd in this day and age, but I can still only receive a signal in my house from Orange.

I got the number off google - a mobile. It rang and went to a non personalised voicemail, so wasn't 100% convinced it was correct. Left a message anyway, but that was Friday and not heard back yet. Sounds like Rikki is a man in demand!!

Although Tesco's own brand finest cider is actually made by Westons, and is quite palatable. Prefer an Old Rascal though!
