Someone tried to break in to our classic mini, obviously disturbed because they didn't get in. Caused a little damage but not really noticeable. Never had this sort of problem in Parkside before, it's obviously a group doing the rounds :-(

I do have my suspicions as to whom it might be due to what else went on the same night...only a couple of doors away within the exact same 2 hour time frame, a guy had his car "bricked".
By this I mean someone decided to take the time do scrape a brick all around his car - and no one else's - multiple times.
This re-affirmed that it's most definitely someone local (That and the fact the TV was found 20 meters away down an alley, so no transport was available for them...)

IR CCTV linked direct to the pc, which then has a PIR detector on, and uploads all videos when motion's been detected.
Link it direct to an app which then sends my phone a text message, and an email with the photos of the aforementioned intruder :D

2 way audio would be awesome too, so you could say "You can run, but you can't hide!" muhahahahahahaha!

Most of that is already available. I once looked into a system for someone that sat in the attic and streamed all your footage live onto the net through your broadband (obviously you needed credentials to view it). Should the BB go down it could send stills via 3g as well, whilst storing any video that showed movement. It had a 2 or 3 hour battery backup, and would alert you both by email and text whenever it detected anything or when the power/net went off. The only way to turn it off* was via the touchscreen, that had a camera in to see who deactivated it.

Wouldn't be too hard to get the audio working two way, just open a call to the 3G sim it already used and broadcast it through the house stereo system :D

Was talking to someone yesterday who lives in Berry Road, there have been a few down there, end of grab lane, Eccleshall Rd junction. Not exactly subtle as they have stove the double glazing in with a large brick/stone. Loads of stuff gone, including jewelry etc. With that and Parkside, looks like that quick access to the motorway is being used again!

Not Parkside, we're on the O.G. and not actually anything stolen, but we woke up to find the shed door has been pulled off of the shed. I can only imagine they were disturbed. Very odd (Bikes, lawnmower and the best we can see tools all accounted for).
