Bus Gates

It's now fashionable for towns and cities to paint a patch of road green and call it a bus gate . This basically means if you cross it it will cost you £60

If anyone was thinking of going shopping to Birmingham by car, be aware of the Selfridges bus gate trap

AA route planner sends you through it as do most other map apps ( Moorgate Street Queensway )

To get to the Selfridges multi-storey car park from the M6 you need to take a scenic route through Digbeth

Or take the train

I'm in Brum at present, used to like it but so much has changed in the last two years, I won't be rushing back. A totally different vibe to how it used to be.
