There's an old saying "Fix the roof whilst the sun is shining" - perhaps that could also be extended to underfloor pumps ! (will be a worse job if it fails in winter). Could the pump be located with a stethoscope whilst running ?
Possibly - if it was running.

Big today, but nothing for me.

I did consider a remote control spider - I could have tested the range by chucking it over a nearby hedge...

Thin today - and thinning out more by the time I got there, just after the drizzle.

I did get two different packs of Harris No-Loss brushes - I may see if I can transfer their technology elsewhere.

I also got a rather nice old pallet knife, like this.

I got a wooden carved elephant with a baby elephant in its' tummy and a masai warrior called 'Generous one' for the mother. She already has some zulus to keep her company.

A more interesting mix of "stuff" today.

Nothing for me, though.

There was a chap selling a single jump lead - handy, if you've lost a red one.

And an ice hockey stick - winter draws on...

3 bottles of champagne type stuff for £10 and a few paint brushes and bits so not bad, and a nice day for a walk round, oh and £5's worth of cheap crisps. :munch:
