Car boot sales in Stafford.

My first boot sale for a year today. It was surprisingly quiet, I even thought it might not be there until I actually arrived - walking down the Isabel trail there was no audible signal from it.

Having no intention of buying anything, I did end up with a 'sorting tray' - these things fit exactly in some desk drawers that I have, so it was worth a quid.

A bit like this, but with a few different sizes of compartment.

Anyone trying to shift Nerf guns at the car boot on the off chance?

I’m still after a decent variety

I saw nothing of that sort, I'm afraid.

There was more 'garage clearout' stuff than there used to be, but somewhat less 'toy based material', I thought.

Quite thin today, by the time I got there, largely as a result of the poorly timed shower earlier on.

I did get a couple of nice polishing mops of this form. The pair in the middle.

Still no non-lethal weaponry for @Cue.

It is a cross-section of the general population around here - therefore, it will be weird.

Quietish today, but rather more interesting provender.

I got a couple of large Scotch Brite wheels and a new filter jug, for the old round filters, of which I may have a lifetime supply still.

Still biggish - and still mostly tat.

But, I did get a somewhat larger polishing mop, a pair of ¼" hexagon extensions for screwdriver bits, so I can leave a set in each main location now, and a 210 x 7mm diameter SDS drill - handy for initial pilot holes, especially when using the cordless drill for larger holes than is reasonable.
