Car drives in to Aldi

I don't know how they've managed this, but the stores closed till further notice now .
Speed, poor driving, human error, mechanical failure. Think I've covered them all. Most likely one of the first 3. So that's two nasty accidents in less than a week within a mile of one another. Can't wait for the council/highways/whoever to do f*ck all about any of them

Gotta wonder at how this happened, I can't even tell which way they'd have been travelling from to hit it there. Maybe St Georges, but in that case at what speed?

I guess from the macys roundabout, the Mini ended up in macys railings and Merc carried on into the wall

The mini ended up facing the wrong way in front of maccies & the merc in the wall. The lady from the mini looked really shook up, hope she's ok, I didn't see the occupant of the merc.

The lack of damage on the shrubbery and path does make it seem like they weren’t in the car park but then that begs the question of where the mini came into play

Been there today. It's got to be someone turning right from out of the St George's housing estate and then into the ALDI. It's nowhere near the mini roundabout. They took out one of the traffic lights in the process.

I've just been to Aldi and had to wait at the lights coming out.

And judging by the broken fencing I would say the trajectory of the Merc was from the turning into Kings Mead from Lammascote road direction not from St George's.

Looking at the angle/position where it's ended up to me, it's been travelling towards Chell Road and for some reason floored it (maybe they were trying to get through the lights before they turned to red?) and veered off to the left.

Possibly.

Google doesn't quite show what I think is the correct trajectory but the fence damage was where the dark coloured hedge is.
