I simply allude to your proclivity for a good fight.
If you clicked on the link it pointed straight onto what is now the Chetwynd Centre car park and what was the playground. I was there from 79 to 82. My late Mum had a Chetwynd inauguration certificate as she was on the staff when Chetwynd launched.
The schoolyard/car park went up to roughly where the current boundary fence is, then the school sports field went to somewhere around, I would estimate, where the front of the tills in the shop are.
Nope, it was predominantly a rugby school / cricket school during 82 to 85, and although it did also do football (not soccer), it was dependent on who took you for P.E as to what you would play. I still remember scoring the winning penalty in the shoot out for Drake against Anson. Yes, it did hit the crossbar, but it WAS definitely over the line.Ah that explains you playing football then, I left school in 79 and when it was a grammar school we had to play rugby and cricket. No soccer allowed!!!
The field went up to where the right hand corner of Tescos (as you look at the front) and then ran along the same line as the wall behind the petrol station i.e. diagonally across Tesco.
I'm not sure what you mean
Just wait until Marwood reappears after his annual absence.
After his spell in the Green, with Bubba, I'd be amazed if he'll be able to stand for some time. Will the real John Marwood please stand up !...
I think those buildings next to the Tesco boundry are garages for the housesJust looked at the plans, new houses along the Tesco boundary and doesn't look like they are extending the backs of what exists? Could be wrong though!

Says private gardens behind them? They also have parking out front, and are similar sizes to the houses opposite which already appear to have parking.
