Has anyone on here spotted cards for Great Nephews or Nieces?
Sister threw a strop last year when I sent 'ordinary' cards to my nieces two kids. They're about 16 & 18 now for goodness sakes.

My understanding is teenagers like their cards made from £20`s or £50's notes

My understanding is they're lucky to get a card at all. Family had an unspoken understanding not to bother with Christmas or birthday cards and only get presents for the kids.
Enter Mrs T to start sending cards to all and sundry, new precedent set.

Seriously, that sounds like she needs some help from professional medical experts. When I was little I used to get things off one of my great aunts but it stopped when I was a teenager, I think my granny would have disowned me and vice versa had either us of had a tantrum over such trivialities. I didn't stop us going to see her when she stopped and me and my cousins still talk in fondness about her. She should be grateful that you bother with giving them anything, personally I'd just stop sending anything ungrateful brats!

her saying the kids were upset does not mean they were upset.
kids of that age surely don't read cards, just hope there's something inside, then look to see who it's from. sign it uncle trumpet, then you have that personalized card to send.

Don't get a card from them. My niece sends an inclusive one from her and kids. But don't really want to go that route.
