I enjoyed the Avocet ale but it wasn't quite cider o'clock so stuck to the beers.

On another note , a Guiness bar pump had a harp. Hubby reckons Guiness is part of 'Harp' as in " Harp, stay sharp to the bottom of the glass: advert
Harp was launched in 1960 by Guinness but from 1961 was part of a consortium with Courage and Scottish & Newcastle each having a quarter share. After Dundalk it was also brewed in Alton, Manchester and Edinburgh. I remember it also being the keg lager for smaller brewers including Banks's and Greene King.Harp is a Guinness product. Funnily enough I found a bottle of the quince cider, that you gave me, amongst the bottles I brought up to Scotland.Gone native and drinking Latvian ciders lately, had a rather interesting hopped one last night and there is a meadow version that has 3 different flowers used in the brewing which was quite sweet but rather easy to drink.
