I've just recalled that it was revealed to me last night that the Coach is only shut temporarily for some renovation work - the timescale wasn't made clear - or, if it was, then I can't remember that at all...

It certainly didn't weary the 84 year-old birthday celebrant that I was with - his last Facebook posting was from the Grapes at about 3 a.m.

Almost intrigued now, though I may give it a miss.

I've visitors (olde men; me dad and his old buddy and son etc) every so often to this great town I take out on mini pub crawls each time they visit, I'm thinking of including the "randoms" to the mix and gauge peoples opinions, before I do such crazy things.
