I'm intrigued by the title of this thread. Woodseaves is a long way to go for a bit of cock.

This is only my opinion, but for what it's worth that is the most uninspiring and unimaginative menu that I've seen in a long time.
It is possible, if we assume that even the most rudimentary 'market research' was carried out, that this was 'Targeted Menu-ing'. We can thus conclude, quite reasonably, that people who live in Woodseaves are uninspired and lacking in imagination.

Perhaps they should go to the pub to reinvigorate themselves?

Cock now doing a midweek special, two courses for £10.95. Decent choice on the menu and normal sized portions.
Boy had cod last night and it was larger than the 'full price' offerings available at some establishments, really tasty sauce too.

I was considering taking on this pub years ago but the thing that finally swayed it was that I couldn't bear the though of answering the telephone - saying 'hello the cock inn'

Went up to watch the footy last night ( Mrs T's suggestion ) had a great night.
Pre match and first half barbecue followed by free burgers, chips, belly pork and kofta wraps during the extra time and shoot out.
Great atmosphere, first game I've watched this time round. In fact thinking about it, it's probably the first game I've watched since last but one World cup.

The Holdens beer is splendid

The building is immaculate

The service is fine

Still not impressed with the food sadly

And I ever so want to be

It lacks a little bit of sophistication ( yep, its meat eating farming country so they probably know their market ) and rather bland and unimaginative

But then I'm not a meat eating farm worker

So they won't be too bothered

Elvis has left the building
