Further to the anonymity thread posted in General Chat:

If anyone wants me to change their username, for whatever reason, please message me and let me know. You can send a private message by clicking my avatar/username and then clicking Start a Conversation.

Bear in mind some basic Internet common sense when choosing:

· Choose a username that does not identify you to strangers
· Only refer to other users by their username, not by real names or nicknames
· Think twice before revealing personal info. about yourself, and certainly do not reveal info. about others without their express permission

The single most obvious rule, i suppose, is this: Everything you post on this Forum can be read by any one of the >1 billion Internet users around the world. Do not post anything you wouldn't want any of them to see! :ninja:

I know that seems like stating the obvious, but for some people here this is their first experience of an Internet forum so let's all try and make it as easy as possible for them. :)

Your friendly Forum Governator.

Right am fairly..actually V happy with my username

However ..As a relative new arrival my question is how does one advance to this stage where you can say your bit on your avatar ?..instead of newbie or member or poster or whatever ..

or do you just have to make tons of posts? ( that's not a metric tonne by the way before anyone asks !)

looking forward to a lovely favourable answer

Welcome age'd one. This indeed does appear to be ageist, something that we are definately not. I'm sure the Governator will deal to this matter for you presently.

How bizarre. I've fixed it now, but I have no idea why the available range was so narrow in the first place!

Welcome to The Forum! :D

Intrigued to see that the forum admin has made a point of having an emoticon/smilie for "Scouse". Is it because there are many Scousers in Stafford, or is there some special discrimintion reserved for those from the east banks of the Mersey Estuary?

Pray tell :scouse:
