D'uh, I've still no idea what day it is.....
Even before 'all this', my only concern about what day it was revolved around making sure that I didn't fail in my duties around Sunday Observance.

But, I haven't been to a boot sale for well over a year now.

I am beginning to struggle with months.

My main reason for attending the only currently available and acceptable pub within cycling or walking distance is that he only opens on Saturday and Sunday evenings, so it does place a point in the time line - to some small extent.

Snap. I have to look at my watch or phone to know what day it is usually.
I can look at my phone, say the date to myself, then look again 2 minutes later, to make sure I'm right.
On nights again this month, I have no idea from one day to the next about anything.

I have a calendar with my work shifts on, which now all say 'off' till the middle of July. I still have to look at my phone to see what day it is, then the calandar to see what stupid medical appointment I've got next.

The whole weeks highlight has been the bees!

I was in ward 12 Respiratory ward, the amount of people that were in there with breathing difficulties as an effect of Long Covid was shocking.

I've never had a chest infection, or breathing difficulties before, but it was so frightening and although released from hospital I'm still having massive problems breathing & I'm going to be off work for quite some time, if this is just a chest infection I don't think I would have survived Covid.

Do you have a link to these figures? I have a colleague that swears most cases nowadays are vaccinated people and refuses to get it himself, quite scary when he's massively overweight and has 3 kids.

Tiers, bubbles, traffic lights, intermediate watch lists ?? .... and on top of all this, lets poke the Russian bear and see what happens, let's see what the KGB trained thug will do.

I'm minded of Shakespeare's Richard the Third: "A horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse." Except I would add: "So I can ride the f*** outta here."

It's enough to drive a man to the pub. (OK, OK, my pound is in the jar ..... :P) :pint:
