Errrr ..... I'm not young, I'm not a girl and I'm carrying on wearing a mask regardless what Blow Job says or does in Nr 10 (between piss ups and parties presumably.)

What is it you want me to do ?
Clip the PM ? (Would mean a long drive to London and frankly he isn't worth the cost of a bullet.)

Alert the alien spacecraft that has been hiding in the asteroid belt and firing an insanity beam at the Earth for the last 5 or so years ? (my current conspiracy theory, for which I've put yet another layer on my bacofoil hat.) I sort of admire the aliens for that, much more cost effective than all that fire and brimstone 'Independence Day' malarky.

Start singing ♫'Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day'♪ each morning when I get up ? NOT GOING TO HAPPEN !!

:lol::lol:🤪🤪😱:heyhey:
Well, I was hoping you were going to ask @Glam what I did.... None of the other above? 🤔😔

Thankfully BA.2 isn’t new to us, we knew about it over a month ago (start of December) and it likely made up a large proportion of cases that weren’t identified as Omicron from the S-Gene Dropout

The rest of the world is just lagging behind on identifying it as no way has it not been prevalent everywhere else for the last month.

For our faults we’re very good at sequencing, I wouldn’t be surprised if some other countries were slow on sequencing it and instead relying on PCR dropouts

Yeah, that is referenced in the next tweet, I should have linked to a later tweet in it so it showed more of the thread:

A friend of mine has been nominated for the "COVID Unsung Heroes WISE Diversity and Inclusion Award". She was nominated for creating and implementing a system that allows for virtual viewings of the deceased at the hospital where she works in London, to allow bereaved families to say goodbye to their loved ones from anywhere in the world. She'll be attending a Gala at Windsor castle. Super proud!

Sigh, more cancelled plans. Was really looking forward to my first gig of the year on Monday (after an earlier one got postponed) but if I get covid then we'll have to reschedule some building work on the house and I've decided not to be selfish. I had thought I might go if the infection rate returned to November levels by now but alas.

I've now got 2 of the spawn having to test daily as their classmates and teachers drop one by one to Covid. So huge outbreak at Rodbaston and Spawn3's school in Tettenhall. I think I preferred the old closing the bubble and staying home for a week. Spawn 3's 7 day testing started on Saturday, by yesterday she was objecting and causing huge drama. Had a text this morning to say another one is down so yet another 7 days. I've asked them to talk to her about it. I'm not going to keep having the upset and I'm not going to try to hold her down to do it if she refuses.
The lessening of restrictions is going swimmingly isn't it? :raise::roll::angry:

People dying with it today, 534.

People killed in railway accidents since 1995, 90.

Number of people who have lost all sense of perspective, innumerable.

There are some things that a sense of perspective can't buy.

For everything else, there's Master Race.

People in Britain each year whose deaths are linked to air pollution, about 40,000
and yet more roads keep being built.
