Apparently, when I submitted my ré·sumé, and I suggested a rewrite of the song 'I left my Heart in San Francisco' with ♫'I lost my cherry in Stoke-on-Trent'♪ sung to the same tune ... they remained unimpressed with my abilities.

You have read some of @gilbert grape's unprovoked abusive responses shooting down different opinions to his own haven't you?
I've recently distanced myself from the thread but, seeing as you've tagged me, I'll respond by calling you out for being biased and incorrect. Some of the posts on here are as bad as watching main stream media! Jog on!

Anyone any idea what the blurring around the control line means please?

That was a test from last night and I did another this morning and there was still a very faint blurring.

I'm feeling fine at the moment and, all previous tests have only shown a clear control line.

Better safe than sorry and all that but I wouldn't be worrying too much about blurring.
It's the first time I've seen it plus I've been out and about quite a lot recently so wasn't sure.

I'm still working from home and the fridge is well stocked so no real need to go out at the moment anyway, especially in this heat.

I'll try another test in the morning.

It’s not a heatwave. All that crap we’ve pumped into our veins recently has made us more sensitive to heat.
Strange how everyone’s saying it’s dangerously hot yet we pay good money to get this weather on holiday.

I hope you get cleaned up soon

More and more and more

1 in 5000 is about 0.02%.
According to the Australian Journal of General Practise, 1.6% of people who take paracetamol have an adverse reaction.

As for the side effects of Covid, between 7-18% of those who had symptoms when infected still experience them 12 weeks after infection.

0.02% chance of vaccine side effects vs 7-18% chance of long Covid and taking a paracetamol for it would put you at greater risk than having been vaccinated in the first place.

That's not pro-vaccine propaganda, it's just counting.

In *actual* news, Hong Kong have been able to do a uniquely accurate study of vaccine efficacy as they had no prior outbreak, hence no population immunity to confound the analyses like everywhere else. The study has passed peer review and been published in Lancet Infectious Diseases.

"Three doses.. offered very high levels of protection against severe or fatal outcomes (97·9% [97·3–98·4])."
