How's things with both of you?
Won't lie, we're both rough.
He's only day 1 and a tadge, not a full 2nd day yet. Sat in his room feeling like death warmed up.
I'm 6th day, still testing positive, coughin me heart out and feeling lousy.
I'm staying at my sisters place for 2 weeks while shes on her hollibobs. Peace n quiet and oodles of fresh air.
My mind is a muddle, as proved in another post when I mistook Staffordjas' post for Trumpets, God knows what happened there.
Otherwise fine :D Thank you for asking xx

So you've got a politician spouting science, which he clearly doesn't know shit from a biscuit about. (Please research and put up scientific links, not farking Nigel Farage lookalikes.)
The attendance to that gobshite also doesn't inspire confidence.

I have no objection to your questioning vaccines, that's good science, question everything, scepticism is the basis of science, but if you're going to present a theory, don't pull your data out of bullshit, pull it out of rigorous science.

@gilbert grape

People like the people you are linking to get paid for the BS they put out there. It's BS, sure, but it's monetised - i get the reason behind it.

What do you get out of it?

I just don't get it.

I can understand with compassion why some people fall into conspiracy theories. Believing you have access to a secret truth that you can take action against can give people a sense of control in situations where they might otherwise feel helpless. Especially if they feel a lack of control in life, in general. Then repeated exposure to the same information hardens those positions, regardless of their factual basis. Anger builds an endorphin rush so the conspiracies that take hold often make use of that emotion. Once you've gone down the rabbit hole it gets more and more slippy. This is by design.

Not necessarily saying this applies to anyone in this thread, but I have certainly recognised it in others.

People accusing people of being conspiracy theorists are people who also deny that the story has changed over the last 2 years.
People who make jokes about tin foil increasingly look stupid and disrespectful as the story unfurls. They are that caught up in their own arrogance that nothing else exists! There are thousands more medical professionals that have different views now than they did in 2020, but you probably don't want to hear that. :xd:
Unless you haven't noticed -
Vaccines no longer save everybody by giving them 95% protection, though they probably never did! People wnat to just believing the original plan. Why else would you wear masks in an open field, or in a car on your own?
The level of damage caused is gradually getting closer to the level of damage caused by covid illness, but they are increasingly keeping it under wraps.
Possibly the biggest illness - people who claim to be scientifically knowledgeable and talking down to anybody who questions what they are still force fed by those still forcing anything backed by big pharma solutions.

Both still positive, I feel a bit better, didn't realise how bad the cough would be. He's feeling ok, bit achy and rough but not much else if I'm honest. Was told this virus would affect my appetite, and I'd be a size 8 come Christmas, nope, I'm eating like there's no tomorrow!
I'm actually getting bored just sat on the farm. There's only so much telly you can watch, I'm getting through my pile of books at a fair old rate, Can't do my knitting at the moment, because my hands are hurting.

I was actually wondering about everyone else this morning, are we all feeling ok?
Obviously I can't help anyone right now, but how are you all doing?
My in box is always 'open' if anyone just needs a natter xx

Yeah the cough was awful, especially if you have the sore throat. It stayed with me for about a month but I think my symptoms are all gone now.

Sorry to hear you're both down with it, hopefully the worst of the symptoms have peaked or will peak soon. Usually around day 3 or 4 if you're lucky.
