Well , after evading it all this time, hubby just did a test when we got back from holiday as he's been feeling so rough....came up a strong positive straight away

Out of interest and wanting to hear the views of others I've actually watched the video that you posted and all it is saying is that some organisation made up a six feet distance. So what?

I'm sure that many organisations made protective measurement judgements on how to best protect populations against an unknown virus and the protection measures

It may be "made up" but the intent was to try to protect.

Where are your videos or evidence that whatever protection measures you think are there to control and manipulate were actually proven to be incorrect?

And probably more importantly where is your evidence that the manipulative measures that you mention didn't actually work?

Many who who won't politically believe what they are told by those in charge but when it comes to the biggest event in modern times they've taken everything they've been fed as gospel.
If you'don;t understand that those narratives don't align I really do despair for you, considering all the names and abuse that's come my way!
Those measurement guides were made up and not needed, so loads of businesses could not open due to viability issues.
They even limited attendance at outside sports events! You bought into all of that too!

I never believe anything the government or the newspapers say as a matter of principle but go to original sources and check the facts. Yes, original sources and facts not a load of garbage dreamed up by a load of right-wing conspiracy theorists who cherry pick information and distort the real facts beyond recognition. So six feet, two metres, the length of a coffin, the length of a crocodile or various other lengths that were suggested were approximate based on the distance that microscopic droplets are likely to travel, it was a reasonable attempt to produce guidelines in a hurry. Ok, lets be honest, lots of restrictions were brought in in an attempt to protect people and you didn't like them because they restricted what you wanted to do. So because you are so important and didn't like them they have to have been wrong and put into place to control and manipulate you Wrong, you are the one who is being controlled and manipulated by some very unpleasant people with an unpleasant political agenda

See, this is a difficult sentence - it doesn't immediately make much sense, but gets there if you have some pre-knowledge of the literary style -

The video you posted doesn't mention about whether the 6 feet measurement was needed it just says it was made up.

As I said earlier and as Noah has said they were "made up" to try to protect people against an unknown virus that was killing people (unless of course you think that was made up too).

Whilst I missed doing a lot of things that I enjoy such as watching football or superbikes they were reasonable measures to take to try to stop the spread of the virus at a time when the population wasn't vaccinated.

I'd be interested to hear what your (@gilbert grape) alternative solution(s) would have been and what you think the outcome would be if we hadn't followed the laws that were in place at that time.
