Ha! I've only been to Bristol twice, both times as a guest at events when I was predominantly a comic artist, and I had a lovely time and thought the area I stayed in was quite picturesque but I've not really sampled the nightlife.

Just got back from Redruth (round trip 128 miles) where they pumped me full of antivirals because of the COVID +ve test and having a compromised immune system. To be honest other than a bit of a cough, runny nose and slightly sore throat I don't feel any worse than normal given the circumstances, but the nurse explained to me these antivirals knobble the attack spike on the COVID virus. So help out the immune system.

I'm all for a bit of spike knobbling I am. I've knobbled a few spikes in my travels. :heyhey:🤪:P

I'm on the knobbling list as well, should I test positive.

I tested positive yesterday morning, got kicked off the ward tootsuite. Caught it off one of the girls.
I have never felt so sodding rough in my life.
Why is it, everyone I know that's had it, feels like they're going to die, yet if a patient gets it, they're up and walking around like there's nowt wrong? Wonder if it's sumat do with the cocktail of medication they're all on?
7 weeks later I still have trouble breathing if I have to walk long distances. I did an extra night last night, only because I want the money towards Christmas, I'm so knackered today. Had a good sleep, for once, but am really struggling to do anything. Felt the same ever since I tested positive.

I was due to get my booster (58 millionth) tomorrow, but decided turning up with a streaming cold was a bad idea, so I've cancelled for now.

I've heard a few people say they're not bothering having anymore covid jabs, one collegues had it twice despite being jabbed so doesn't see the point. But surely the point is so you dont become more ill than without the jab.

Youngest hasn't had any jabs, refuses to, and has personal reasons why not.
I was more ill than him and I've had 3 jabs so far.

Apart from being told I had Moderna the other week , I've still got no idea what version. Wasn't given a card or anything at the time , and NHS records still not showing I've had it. Keep getting texts from GP surgery teling me to make an appointment to get both flu (which I had at same time) and covid jabs this month .
Wasn't a very organised operation at the walk-in that I attended After a 2+ hour queue , apart from giving name and address at the entry desk , the form stayed in a pile and just wandered through to sit where we liked in no order , be grabbed by random nurses to be harpooned willy-nilly.
