Coronavirus.

Enjoying a drop of red.
I really don't understand the mentally. If any of my lot come into work after testing positive, they'll wish they hadn't been born. I'd far sooner pay for one member of staff to stay at home, even if they don't feel particularly bad, then to have everyone off with it and have to close the business for a while. That was/is my attitude with flu as well.

I've mentioned previously but I once had a boss moan that I was ill to often and insinuate he didn't believe me, so next time I was ill I went to work. He sent me home at lunch but not til the aircon had ensured half the office were infected.

Had a trip to Nottingham disrupted by multiple train cancellations today and yesterday. Had to change my plans to account for driver shortages. I was wondering if that was to do with covid or something else.

The TOCs are blaming COVID but they've cut back on jobs which they don't seem to mention.

Also a lot of train crew found other jobs during the Pandemic and didn't want to come back to work unsociable hours anymore.

I've gotten sick after each of the two gigs I've been to in the last month, neither Covid and neither anywhere near as bad as when I had Covid but it's kind of refreshing to get ill with other things again!
I dunno, I'm still not right from the apparent laryngitis over a month ago. Yesterday I got earache and one side of my neck swelled up?

Mmm, the woodland in the background would suggest a cool climate - it might be better to paint the tinfoil black to avail of some solar gain?

This would not affect its shielding properties.

Also, leaving the door and window unshielded seems a bad idea.

And, I would wonder about passive retransmission from the metal flue pipe inside the building.

I was wondering why the conifers in the background had died and then realised they hadn't been protected by tinfoil.

(As we all know these recent Tory governments make Ernst Stavro Blofeld and his SPECTRE sidekicks look like the Guildford Women's Institute Sewing Circle.)

Heartbreaking, in the scheme of things.
Andrew Bridgen is a man who was branded by the High Court as a dishonest liar (https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/dishonest-mp-bridgen-lied-about-conduct-in-family-dispute-hplmlxmmx) and has form for spreading vaccine misinformation (https://fullfact.org/health/vaccine-safety-westminster-debate/) (https://fullfact.org/health/Andrew-Bridgen-Covid-19-vaccines/)

If you didn't know, fair enough, but I suspect it won't lead you to even question what he says and that's what I struggle to understand.

I question what everybody says, but as I've said numerous times, these views have increased across the board and so has the evidence (that you wilfully ignore, dismiss and vilify!) and with 2023 approaching I'm sure there will be a delay in releasing expected results and then a shield of protection around those responsible. It's very apparent that the majority of society have some sort of mental block once they've made their mind up and can not possibly change the view they have held!
This whole drama has been people telling us its black, while many know it's closer to white. It's currently grey but people are still denying it's changed! Just an analogy, in case you ridiculously thought I was quoting somebody!

Oh dear! I didn't post a link. Will you understand me?
