I had my flu jab, while emphasising I would only have that jab and not the other.
As is your right and I fully support your right to decline the covid shot, however...

It would literally have been the same people who would have given you the covid shot, would it not? Why do you think that the big "they" would lie about one and not the other if the point is wanting to get it into your body under false pretences...?

I did wonder how would you even know which shot they gave you? But then I have no idea what the latest reason is for being against the jab.

And you tell me my posts don't make sense! Jesus! It's like you've forgotten the whole thread!

You've said before that it is a fake vaccine, haven't you? That is all that "wanting to get it into your body under false pretences" means and that is the only claim I made about your beliefs in that post.

I had my bloods taken at the doctors and while there I had my flu jab, while emphasising I would only have that jab and not the other.
The doctor asked me why and they totally respected my opinion, while also stating the take up has been very low and people have obviously changed their views.
I have heard that the flu jab was a precursor to the COVID outbreak and the moonlandings actually happened.

Discuss.

I’m not impressed with the autumn roll out

Poor comms

And we have no idea which of the three vaccines we’d get when we rock up

I’m not saying the jab is bad

But the message is very blurry

Saw a message on the WhatsApp group that one of the members on the Bristol jolly went down with COVID on returning home. This morning I noticed a sore throat and cough, so I tested ... and also +VE. I've reported it in etc etc.
Right now nothing much more than an annoying cold (feeling rough is permanent due other things.)

As cities go, Bristol is now at the top of my shit list. :grr:

Same at my work AGAIN, tested yesterday as I've felt lousy for the last few days (sore throat, cough, banging head) ..but the test says negative.

Flu jab booked for Monday.

2nd day testing negative, but I'm not convinced. Incredible sore throat, cough, banding head, inflamed ear and sinus pain along with a banging head ....had some weird asthma attack at work on Tuesday too and had to use the emergency puffer. Several people at work have it for the first time at moment, im hoping I'm not one of them..

I shall do an old style test tomorrow (throat and nose) as minime has convinced me that the nose only ones aren't reliable.

A friend who tests the samples for the NHS did tell me it was only worth testing the throat, but you can do that with the nose ones too if you have more of those.

A lot of people I know who have had it recently went 4-5 days of symptoms before testing positive.

Hope you feel better soon!

A quick wander off topic but Bristol has not been high on my list of recommended places. Many years ago a few of us were on a bit of a pub crawl in Bristol and we were just coming up to a locally recommended pub when a bloke hurtled through the door, bounced across the pavement and landed in the gutter, he pulled out a knife, gave it a quick sharpen on the kerbstone and dashed back in the pub. We decided to give the pub a miss.
Back to covid, they now reckon with the current variant that people can be infected for 5 days before showing symptoms.
