Just used the script from this to make a countdown clock for the intranet at work...

For our sins we've had widgets ( ) on our MySpace and Bebo profiles for work - counting down the hours till the kiddies get their A Level results. Cruel in a way when you think about it...

If you mean that we should implement this on The Forum, then no can do I'm afraid.. It's in some zany moon-language that I don't recognise.. Flash or something, I assume..

Of course, if anyone else knows how to do it, I'm open to suggestions

I think if you have some kind of widget thingy you could pop it in the Facebook group. As for having a countdown in here - could always use a yee olde tradition bit of programmin.... haven't given much thought to this.

Twas in Flash, yes, and there is a drawback - it relies on the time and date set on the user's machine. You can do it from a server, but my eyes started glazing over when I started reading about it.

I know you can do it with PHP, but I don't know how. You could gizzoogle it, I suppose.
