Vandalism, sheer vandalism. Philistines!

I do know the person who was painting over this exquisite work of art as I walked past and severely berated him for his actions but he was unrepentant and said he had nothing else to do because the Bird was closed due to a power failure at the time and just carried with his cream coloured paint.

Utter disgrace in my opinion.

Phillistines! It’s actually a Damien Hirst installation entitled ‘Dysplastic Vision of Austere Intensity’ and recently sold to a private collector for an undisclosed sum believed to be in excess of £3.5 million.
