They were doing this at the Formby branch this morning as well. And they're never anything other than rammed, so nothing whatever to do with lack of trade.
Well since the lady manager (who had been there ages) left they've been struggling with staff I think. Early closing on Saturdays a few weeks ago...

I often go at the weekend because 3 do an offer where you get a coffee a week for £1. It was really busy a couple of weeks ago but the coffee is great.

The staff were perfectly fine but cuffy to The Coffee Bar and Kitchen on Mill Street.

Please install some proper extraction in your kitchen upstairs or shut the door. The whole of upstairs just smells of fried bacon/sausage which might be good for a small moment but its annoying after a while !!!

Have just received a visit from a chap who came to sort my lock in my patio doors. he was recommended to me by the fella who fitted the doors many years ago, and has now retired. He is based near Telford but works all over Stafford and that part of Shropshire. I know him only as 'Locksmith Neil', He came applied some carbon powder AFTER the lock had opened at his first attempt! (My Wife and I had both tried to lock the door many times!) Neil REFUSED to take any payment for his travel and trouble, bloody nice bloke so least I can do is give him a 'skill' and his number out should anyone need a locksmith!:- Locksmith Neil +447834532164

Used them a while back to fix a UPVC window, very professional and did a great job.

Not really a service (more like a nuisance) but I like a moan

Cuffy to the leaflet dropper who decided 6.30am was an acceptable time to stuff a load of spam through my door, waking us both up 2 hours before necessary.

It had one of those borderline-scam charity bags in too… typical.

Took mountain bike to Halfords as had problems with gears. Left it with them for a day. Chap told me it wasn't worth repairing as it needed so much doing to it! Thought that was tripe! I had had it from Marathon/Specialised when they were on the Chase it was an ex-thire bike, but hadn't done too many. miles, they were moving back to Stafford and wouldn't need so many bikes. I hadn't originally taken it back there as I thought they'd be too pricey!
Service, new tiyre and gear cassette, £115 My bike was as good as when I bought it! Sometimes you should have faith in somewhere, and sometimes you DO get what you pay for!
BIG SKILL to Mamoth/Specialised Stafford! Will know better next time. Very pleasant and approachable service staff. So Big thumbs up from me! :)

Are they the ones down Eastgate Street?
Youngest took his electric one there, no idea what the problem was tho. He's extremely happy with the fix and cost.
He would have gone to Back2Bikes, but wasn't happy with how they fixed his other electric one a while back x

It is indeed Eagate St,. B2B are fantastically cheap, I use them a lot. Are great for basics stuff if you know what the problem is. I Had an idea it was beyond their knowledge, I didn't even know that gears can have a cassette! (Don't think Halfords did either!) ;)

Royal Mail!
Apparently, the Postman/woman knocked on at Half 8 this morning, got no reply and has now taken my parcel to the Post Office in Smiths. No problem, I don't mind the walk.
But I was downstairs this morning at that time, no bugger knocked and the bit of card didn't appear till 10.30............ Just makes me mad!

Skill to the team at Winterwarmth. Great service and much cheaper than other local businesses for the new composite front door I've had installed.
