A few posts under my belt
Had a quick cycle round but cannot see what they are doing from the road :-( Have you any pictures? Christine & Ray Barron have called the development in so please let them know what is going on along with Jessica Allsopp the planning officer.
I've been told they are tipping more truckloads of hardcore and soil into the floodplain this morning thru silkmore crescent. Locals are going to suffer even more from flooding

So the area where GEC Measurement/ALSTHOM/AREVA/ALSTOM/GE :) was and is now a housing estate (in progress) is to be part of a nature reserve ???

We Wish :) - no the small slither of land between that and the river, then bending round to the railway. and over to the cycle /path from Baswich bridge.

I remember when it was called the MRI. (Meters Relays and Instruments.) Worked there for a few months in 1965. State of the art factory back then. :eek:
