Diabetic eye screening

In case there are any diabetics who have annual eye screening tests.

As I could only find my test result letter from Feb 2020 I called and apparently the annual tests are now 2 yearly (due to COVID backlog) if your most recent test was Ok. Whilst I understand the delay it would have been nice to be informed of the change.

As my sugar levels vary so much I asked if it was possible to bring my test forward and I've got one booked for a couple of weeks time.

I've missed retinopathy for the last 2 years, with one thing and another... I know they don't do them at the optitions at the side of old big co-op anymore.... Is it just Riverside clinic that do them now? (I did faithfully promise the nurse I would go several months ago)

Yes it is the Riverside clinic 2nd floor I think.

I think the NHS are the only ones that do them now because there was some problems with opticians doing them.
