She was Staffordian, she died last year unfortunately. It was him I was thinking about when I suggested a T.Shirt with 'I've got Stafford in my blood'.

My grandmother's great uncle was Wallace Hartley, the bandleader on the Titanic. Also, on Ma's side, a really really old Family Pedigree (as it was called) thing from circa 1895 or something, claims that an Aunt (Sarah someone or other) composed the nursery rhyme Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. (I doubt this authenticity very much.) And my great great grandfather on Ma's side was an Earl of somewhere (in the UK obviously) who apparently did something really bad and was disowned by his family and booted over here. The fact he went on to marry my great great grandmother who was all of 12 at the time, kinda makes me think his choice in 'women' had something to do with his disownment.

One of my ancestors was Alice Nutter, who was hanged as one of the 10 Pendle Witches in Lancaster in 1612.

The Pendle Witches were accused of selling their souls to familiar spirits or devils who appeared to them in human and animal form. In return for their souls, it was believed that the witches received the power to kill or lame who they pleased.

The usual method of murder, descirbed in Demdike's confession, was to make an ethigy of the intented victim, known as a 'picture of clay'. The image was then crumbled or burned over a period of time, causing the victim to fall ill and die.

You'll be glad to hear that my soul is still intact, so for the moment everyone's safe! Loads more info HERE

I have an uncle Tony who used to be Prime Minister. I'm not absolutly sure about the relationship path but it goes through another famous relation, Pat Pheonix, who was married to Cheri Blair's father Tony Booth. Also related to the Pilkingtons of Pilkington Glass and going back into family history there was another Prime Ministrer called Lord North who we don't talk about because he is officially the worst PM ever - managed to loose America to teh colonials and has his portrait inthe Whitehouse cos he signed the treaty of independence.

Awesome, especially if you've read 'Good Omens' by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.
