If there are still plans for The Wedgwood Building in the town centre?

Or have they evaporated along with the monies?

Whatever happened to the Eastgate revamp, demolished magistrates court site, and proposed levelling of the polis station ?

And are their still Plans for the Isaac Walton Drapery Experience Centre at his birthplace at bus stop number two Pitcher Bank?

Council wins funding
Council says how great it is they have funding
Council draws up huge plans for the funding to show how great they are

Generally at this point we have an election of some sort

Council stops saying much about the projects, but still mention the funding amount
Projects slowly disappear for logistical/technical reasons
Consultants get paid to keep on consulting til the money runs out
Several potholes are now grade 2 listed

1) pictures of the gas works on the Sainsbury's site / chell rd - not behind the Lamb


2) pictures of the (Victorian) launderette on stone rd


3) pictures of Tillington school when it was on Stone Rd?

I have googled but can't find anything apart from a gasometer behind the Lamb (& slaughter)

If you can get red ambulances? Driving to collect minime today, there was a ambulance with blue lights flashing in front of one of the houses by mini Tesco on Stone rd......another came flying from town and I halted traffic (with my car) to let it through... It took about an hour to collect minime, on our way back there were now 4 ambulances in front of the house, one red, but with ambulance markings.


There was something written on the front of it, but I didn't have time to see......what would it be? Maybe fire & not an ambulance? I've googled without success.

Hoping the people concerned are ok.

Maybe "Private Ambulance" meaning there's not much need for the ordinary ambulances.

I remember North Place as half a dozen terraced houses reached by a track but never knew North Street.
