Does anyone need help?

Sad news, Kathryn passed away on Monday afternoon at Katharine House Hospice. She wasn't in any pain as she slipped away. She had managed 3 sessions of Radiotherapy last week but we took the decision to stop on Thursday as we realised she couldn't handle the travelling. We had hoped to complete the 2 remaining sessions but it wasn't to be. The care the Hospice provided was exceptional.
Sorry to hear the sad news @c0tt0nt0p.

Morning all, Thanks all for your kind words....

Could anyone provide testimonies both good and bad for locations for a receptions post funeral service ? As with most things its not something I've ever had to arrange (even just a function) therefore opinions would be appreciated. Ive not decided yet if it will be just a get together (ie drinks) or somewhere that does food as well. Thanks in advance

Bird in Hand have a nice function room. Food is nice too, but then you have to factor in parking, there is no long term free parking close by.

The Bird in Hand function room is free and they include the astro turfed marquee area which is fenced off from the rest of the beer garden.

It's quite private from the rest of the pub too.

The only downside is as @Glam said is the parking.
