Hi does anyone have experience of dollymixtures nursery or allorts out of school club they would like to share? I have heard nothing bad regarding childcare there, however their administration leaves a lot to be desired!

I know a lot of the girls that work at Dollys personally, thru working at St. Georges., they're a great bunch of hard working Nursery Nurses, who love the job they do.
Saturn5, considering at the moment you have only made 2posts on this Forum, I'm wondering if you're out to kick up a stink about the place and how it's run?
Have you got a personal grievance against the owner for some reason?

I've not heard of them before so haven't used them, but as a parent, if the child care is good, I personally wouldn't be that bothered about the admin! Better it's this way round than bad child care and great admin!

I think its a bit early for all of that... the OP did say that she had heard nothing bad about the childcare and that the admin was bad.... that doesn't seem overly critical to me.

Is Dollymixtures the one next to Rydal House on Corporation Street? An old friend of mine had a flat right on the corner and sometimes the noise from the kids was just unbearable.

If that was during the early 00s, then my 14 year old daughter would like to pass on her apologies to your friend.

It would be around then. On one occasion that I was there, they were clearly slaughtering a pig, and in a most inefficient manner - the poor thing suffered for ages. You might like to ask her about that, it seemed a most inappropriate activity for a playgroup. And I'm sure that I saw a pentagram marked out in the outside play area....

 And I've been blaming her change of personality on her hormones.
